Course Overview.

The Certificate III in Make-up is designed for people wishing to become professional make-up artists. Successful graduates will learn how to design and apply make-up for a range of purposes and occasions across the beauty, fashion, weddings and media and entertainment industries.

Working with leading brands like MAC Cosmetics, you’ll build upon your foundation skills and develop a portfolio of day, business, evening and bridal looks. As your study progresses, you’ll advance your skills into specialist applications such as air-brushing, photographic makeup and cosmetic camouflage.

Through all of this you’ll be mentored by industry professionals – trainers who are invested in your learning and who are there to guide you with the skills, knowledge and industry connections you need to launch your beauty career!

What You Will Learn In This Course.

The SHB30215 Certificate III in Make-Up is a nationally accredited course and covers all aspects of make-up services. Students will learn how to apply make-up for every day, glamour events, weddings and special events. You will also learn the art of photographic Make-Up and the application of remedial and camouflage.
The SHB30215 Certificate III in Make-Up has a total of 15 Units. There are 9 core and 6 elective units. We have put together an exciting selection of electives to complement your core units, including Eyelash Extensions and Lash & Brow services.
